Production Planner

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations. This position requires a strong understanding of operations management, supply chain processes, and production planning methodologies. The Production Scheduler will work closely with various departments to align production goals with customer demands while maintaining high standards of quality control.

Duties

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with plant management to ensure resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands or address any delays.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
• Analyze data from ERP (Systems, Applications, and Products) for effective decision-making regarding production scheduling.
• Communicate with various stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, and assembly teams, to ensure alignment on production goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems for production planning.
• Understanding of MRP systems and their application in scheduling processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration across departments.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
