Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with soldering techniques, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. This position plays a crucial role in the assembly of electronic components, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
Duties
- Perform soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to fabricate and assemble parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work using tools such as calipers and ohmmeters.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and mechanical assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in soldering, preferably with IPC 610 certification.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with PCB assembly processes and techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Experience with machining processes is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
