Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and treatments tailored to clients' needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations.
- Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
- Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their growth.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and processing payments.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, techniques, and products.
Skills
- Proven experience in cosmetology with a valid cosmetology license.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment management.
- Knowledge of hair threading techniques is a plus.
- Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment consistently.
- Experience with hair extensions is desirable but not mandatory.
- A flair for upselling services or products based on client needs.
