Duties
- Help guide cafe/retail staff in day to day operations
- Address customer complaints.
- Manage staff schedule and PTO.
- Enter sales orders as needed.
- Spearhead temperature control and quality control standards.
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Collaborate with kitchen and retail staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food production.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and bar.
- Assist in training and development of new staff members, promoting best practices in food handling and safety.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support catering operations during events, including banquets, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting such as hotels, catering services, or restaurants is preferred.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Experience in bar service or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
