Basic Responsibilities: To assist in the day to day management of assigned properties in conjunction with company policy.
Assist apartment manager with the day-to-day operations of the project, including, but not limited to, rent collections, bank deposits, management reports, apartment rentals, pre-occupancy and post occupancy inspections, delegate and monitor work orders, rule enforcement, and handling project emergencies
Prepare new leases and all resident forms with complete documentation and handle the orientation of new residents
Review, interview and screen prospective residents to assure, as much as possible, acceptable quality tenants, following the Resident Selection Criteria.
Adhere to Fair Housing rules and regulations.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements: Ability to walk and climb stairs for one mile to show apartments and inspect the complex. Ability to look at P/C screen and type on keyboard for 2 hours daily. Ability to drive short distances to obtain supplies. Ability to answer phones and converse 8 hours daily. Ability to perform various light duty actions necessary to fulfill the above job responsibilities.
