As a Machine Shop Helper, you will be crucial in supporting our machining operations. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with CNC operations, deburring, plating, and general machine shop tasks. You will work closely with our experienced machinists and technicians to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our shop.
Key Responsibilities :
- CNC Operations : Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines, including loading and unloading materials, monitoring machine performance, and performing routine maintenance.
- Deburring : Perform deburring tasks to remove sharp edges and burrs from machined parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Plating : Assist with plating processes, including preparing parts for plating, monitoring plating baths, and ensuring proper coating thickness.
- General Machine Shop Tasks : Support various machine shop activities, such as cleaning and maintaining equipment, organizing tools and materials, and assisting with assembly and inspection tasks.
- Quality Control : Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using precision measuring instruments and following established quality control procedures.
- Safety : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
