Mechanical Assembler

South Tulsa location

Pay Rate and Hours :

Pay : $17.00 / HR DOE
Hours : Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm

Job Description :

Performs light mechanical assembly using light electrical and air-operated hand tools, measurement tools, and overhead cranes. Cleaning parts

Performs light semi-automatic machine operations such as grinding, sanding, drilling, and gasket cutting.

Builds final assemblies in conformance with assembly drawings, specifications, procedures, work instructions, and verbal instructions.

Reports discrepancies of product non-conformance and equipment problems to the Manufacturing Supervisor and / or Assembly Lead-man.

Assists in the pressure testing (pneumatic or hydrostatic) of some assemblies in accordance with prescribed engineering specifications and test methods.

Job Requirements :

Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations.

Ability to read, write, and communicate with supervision and co-workers.
