Job Description:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, control components, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, conveyors, etc.
- Understanding of PLC’s with advanced troubleshooting of PLC programs
- Understand and perform required LOTO procedures safely before the maintenance of machines
- Install or dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation, run tests on equipment, troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment, and repair and maintain existing equipment.
- Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and other diagrams.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment when performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Must be aware of safety hazards at all times
- Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned
- Observe safety procedures, determine appropriate action, and report potentially unsafe conditions
Skills:
- 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- A high school degree or GED is required
