Key personnel is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team and assist providers with patient exams, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and care coordination.
- Pay Rate :
- 17-20 / hr
- Hours :
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
- Key Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and show sensitivity to their needs and conditions.
- Assess and document patient conditions, including vital signs, medications, and social history.
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform ancillary services like venipunctures and x-rays independently.
- Maintain medical records and coordinate patient care.
- Use EMR and other computer applications effectively.
- Administer medications as directed by physician order.
- Promote patient wellness through education.
- Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of an approved Medical Assistant Educational Program or 1 year of related experience within the last 5 years.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated patient care skills.
- Proficient in using a PC.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of healthcare delivery processes in a medical office.
