Occupational Therapist, Greenfield, MA

The Key Program is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with adolescent males and females in group home programs located in Greenfield, MA. This is a part-time position at 16-25 hours a week. The hours available are flexible but must include after-school hours. 

Qualifications:   

· Initial certification by National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy   

· Current licensing by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board 

· Registered with the State Board of Registration in Allied Health Professionals    

· Two years of experience as an occupational therapist, preferably in school system or other pediatric practice setting.       

Responsibilities: Provide direct Occupational Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current level of function, setting individualized goals and making discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice; provide direct OT treatments according to standards of practice, including child and family education, progression of treatment plan and implementation of appropriate therapeutic interventions; report on child’s progress through appropriate written documentation including evaluation forms, progress notes, education forms; and collaborate with physicians, social workers, children, family and other members of the health care team relative to the child’s treatment and progress as well as other affiliated agencies with regard to effective discharge planning.     

Benefits include: A competitive wage of $43.50-46.50 per hour 

The Key Program is a private, non-profit human services agency whose mission is to assist at-risk and court-involved children/adolescents and their families to develop positive life skills so they may pursue productive and rewarding lives. Key works in conjunction with the MA Department of Children & Families (DCF), MA Department of Youth Services (DYS), the MA Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the RI Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) and is an agency provider of both community-based outreach services and residential treatment programming.
