Children’s Charter Trauma Clinic, a division of The Key Program, Inc., is seeking to hire a full-time, salaried outpatient clinician. Children’s Charter has been committed for 38 years to breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma in the lives of children, adolescents, adults, and families with limited resources. A diverse group of clinicians, we promote interpersonal safety and healing for survivors of physical and sexual abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and traumatic loss by providing individual, family, and group therapy. We are dedicated to serving BIPOC and other marginalized communities and work to promote equity and address disparities in the field.
Job Requirements/Description
Responsibilities include 24 weekly insurance reimbursable clinical hours with primarily child and teen survivors of trauma including sexual and physical abuse and domestic violence. We have made it a priority to provide weekly support and supervision that includes group supervision, two hours of individual supervision, and clinical team meetings. Additionally, we have a commitment to training which has included over the past two years, EMDR, a weekly DEI discussion group, and an upcoming year-long neurofeedback training. Services include individual and family therapy provided both in-person and virtually. Clinic hours are primarily afternoon and evening, and all clinicians are required to be at the clinic one evening until 8 pm. The clinician will also coordinate services for their clients including collaborating with collaterals, advocates, and schools, and assisting clients and their families in accessing additional services and resources in the community.
Salary & Benefits
Starting salary range: $57,280 - $61,320. We are seeking a motivated clinician who is:
- a Masters Level Social Worker or Mental Health Clinician or Doctoral Level Psychologist
- Experienced in Working Therapeutically with Children and Adolescents
- Culturally Aware and Able to Provide Culturally Competent Interventions
- Able to Collaborate Effectively with Co-workers, Clients, and Outside Agencies
- Organized and Familiar with Clinical Documentation/Paperwork
- Knowledgeable of Case Management to Support Clients Who Present with Emergent Needs
- Able to work afternoons and evenings including one evening until 8 pm
