We are seeking a Youth Counselor to work in Providence, RI in our six-bed, semi-independent living group home for girls (ages 16-20) who are involved with the Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF).

What you bring…
● A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an Associate’s degree, or college coursework with one year of human service experience is required
● 21 years of age or older
● Have a valid state driver's license; and legally registered and insured car for work use.
● Ability to work a varied and rotating schedule (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm) includes weekdays, weekends and some holidays.
What you will do…
- Supervise up to six young ladies (ages 16-20) and assist them to meet their treatment plan goals and provide behavior management.
- Be a positive role model for the young women;
- Provide advocacy in the areas of female health needs, education, vocation, legal and family intervention;
- Coordinate creative and therapeutic recreational activities;
- Facilitate individual and group instruction for social and life skills development; assists the girls to perform daily life skills activities.
