What you bring…
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR Associates degree OR college coursework and one year of human service experience, OR High school diploma or GED/HiSET with two years of human service experience, required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state driver’s license and legally registered and insured car for work use
- Due to the nature of the work and client needs, Residential Caseworkers must have the ability to work a varied and rotating schedule with their team that includes days (7am-3pm), evenings (3pm-11pm), and some weekend shifts.
What you will do…
- Residential Youth Counselors (Residential Caseworkers) work within a trauma informed system of care and develop supportive relationships with the male teens by being a positive role model.
- Assist the young men to accomplish treatment plan goals, and provide care for them in the areas of health, education, vocation, legal advocacy, and family advocacy.
- Coordinate creative and therapeutic recreational activities.
- Facilitate individual and group instruction for social and life skills development and assist the boys to perform daily living skill activities.
