Key Property Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician with Janitorial Responsibilities in Louisville, KY. The work hours will be scheduled between Monday & Friday, with shared/rotating emergency on-call responsibilities after hours & on weekends. The responsibilities of this position include the following but are not limited to:
· Perform daily maintenance of apartments, grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
· Custodial duties as assigned.
· General repairs – including electrical, carpentry, sidewalk, and parking lot.
· Painting
· Cleaning
· Carpets
· Appliances
· Safety systems
· Plumbing
· Prepare units for new move-ins
· Assist in preparation for government inspections with an emphasis on site health and safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Work with the Property Manager and Maintenance Tech to identify janitorial and maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
· Initiate, perform, and/or oversee janitorial and maintenance projects.
· Perform apartment turnovers, repairs, grounds maintenance, and overall upkeep on a large, high-rise property.
· Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple, concurrent maintenance activities.
· Work with Property Manager to meet and exceed the needs of the apartment community.
