Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various equipment and systems within our residential properties. You will ensure our tenants have a comfortable and safe living environment by responding promptly to maintenance requests and keeping our properties in top condition.
Responsibilities
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within residential units.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on appliances, fixtures, and building systems.
- Repair and replace faulty equipment and components in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment in all properties.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and property managers regarding maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in residential maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (preferred).
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing appliances and fixtures (preferred).
- Ability to lift and maneuver moderately heavy objects.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
