KRG is eager to help a Syracuse, NY law firm hire a Billing Coordinator on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing, printing and mailing bills
- Assisting attorneys and secretaries with problem bills
- Maintaining communication with attorneys, clients, and staff regarding bills
- Setting up clients and matters in system with appropriate billing and tracking functionalities
- Participating on various departmental projects
This is a very busy office that processes a high volume of paperwork. As such, candidates must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to smoothly transition between tasks while meeting important deadlines.
Job Requirements
- 3 years of billing experience, preferably in a legal setting
- High attention to detail and exceptional proofreading skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with ELITE or other billing/time entry software strongly preferred
- Great communication skills
- Team player
