KRG is helping a global manufacturer hire a full-time Lab Technician. The Lab Technician supports the testing and characterization of products and materials used in aerospace applications.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assemble prototypes and modify production parts for tests
- Set up laboratory equipment to perform tests as required by engineering and governmental requirements/instructions
- Conduct tests and record data
- Prepare reports for engineers
- Perform equipment calibration and repair, inventory and organization of lab supplies
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in mechanical/engineering technology or High School diploma and some advanced training in engineering technology
- Technician Certification in manufacturing/engineering preferred
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and LabView
- Basic engineering and mathematics, mechanical aptitude
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Background in chemistry, circuits and data acquisition a plus
