We are helping our client find an experienced Abuse and Fraud Analyst to join its team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities, including scraping, spamming, abuse, fake account creation, growth fraud, and unauthorized usage of the company platform.
The ideal candidate is a proactive investigator with experience in data analysis, SQL, and bot detection, and thrives in dynamic environments with evolving challenges.
As an Abuse and Fraud Analyst, you'll :
- Identify, analyze, and investigate potential bot activities, spamming, scraping, and other abusive behaviors on the platform.
- Label and categorize bot traffic and fraudulent accounts for further analysis.
- Write SQL queries to extract, analyze, and interpret data related to abuse and fraud patterns.
- Create comprehensive reports to inform the team and leadership about emerging threats, trends, and resolutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to prevent abuse and fraud.
- Support the creation of automated tools and systems for fraud detection and mitigation.
- Assist in maintaining and improving fraud detection policies and protocols.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving platform security based on your findings.
