Furniture Delivery Driver

This is a 1099 Position

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company-provided or personal box truck (non-CDL required) to deliver furniture to residential and commercial locations.
• Work alongside a helper to load, unload, and deliver furniture items with care and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including assembling furniture if needed.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure TIMELY and accurate deliveries.
• COMMUNICATE effectively with dispatchers and team members.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (non-CDL required).
• White Glove experience
• Clean MVR
• Prior experience in furniture delivery or a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to COMMUNICATE
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving a box truck
• Basic knowledge of furniture assembly.
• Familiarity with local routes and neighborhoods.

Average number of Stops per Route: 13

6 Day Work Week

Weekly Pay

Work well with as a two-person delivery team (Driver & Helper)

CLASS C license is required

Driver must possess a valid Driver's License with good driving record (must be able to pass MVR check).

Able to lift/carry heavy items ( 75 lbs.) with the assistance of a team member and/or proper lifting equipment

Able to pass pre-employment requirements: criminal background check, medical card, and drug screen.
