Job Title: Plant Engineer
Location: Willows, CA
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Range: $130,000 - $170,000
Job Summary: The Plant Engineer oversees and manages maintenance and engineering functions at a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include Capex budgeting, equipment reliability, productivity improvements, and managing the Maintenance department and energy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and staff the Maintenance department.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance activities.
- Develop and report on Capex Programs.
- Control and report on the Plant maintenance budget.
- Maintain Capital Assets and track equipment reliability.
- Drive productivity and maintenance skills programs.
- Manage plant energy programs.
- Ensure environmental and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex problems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Collaborate with Plant Leadership to achieve goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6 years in manufacturing/project engineering and 2 years in leadership.
- Experience managing a team of 55 hourly and 4 salaried employees.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Systems and Environmental/Safety regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Minimal travel required.
- Typical manufacturing facility work environment with potential exposure to various conditions.
Salary : $130,000 - $168,000
