Job Description Job Description Quality Assurance Auditor Location : Sun Valley, CA, US Shift : Monday – Friday, 1 st shift 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm Salary Range : $53,500.00 To 74,800.00 Annually Seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to support its Quality Assurance department. Selected applicant will perform internal and external audits, initiates and monitors cause and corrective actions until completion, prepares audit report findings, and monitors continues improvement. Audits and administrates to the AS9110 and AS9100 Standards and applicable CFR’s. Assists Management to maintain AS9110 and AS9100 processes and procedures for all departments. Coordinates and schedules audits for companies internal systems and for Sub-Contract Maintenance Facilities. A Quality Assurance Auditor may be assigned to one or more departments depending upon the company needs at the time. Essential Duties : This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned task. May be assigned some or all duties indicated below depending on job progression level. Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards.Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.Collect and compile statistical quality data.Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.Monitor risk management activities.Responsible for document management systems.Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.Perform duties within the EH&S department.Responsibility to work with LEAN Manufacturing principles.Performs other duties as required by business needs.Education : Bachelor’s degree required. Certification / Licensure : ASQ / CQA Certificate preferred. Experience : Five (5) years of experience in the aerospace industry. This position may require use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or both. U.S. Person preferred. Under U.S. law, a U.S. Person is : a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card status'), a Political Asylee or Refugee. Salary : $53,500 - $74,800
