Key Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC VTL Machine Operator to join our client's team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC VTL machines to perform turning and milling operations with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC VTL to perform turning and milling operations.
- Prepare raw materials (casting, plate, etc.) and load them into the machine using a bridge crane.
- Use a manual 4-jaw chuck to ensure parts are within specifications.
- Read setup sheets and blueprints to make parts according to specifications and measurements.
- Troubleshoot machines as needed by reading and interpreting G code programming.
- Adjust offsets to bring parts within tolerance.
- Inspect and measure 100% of parts using OD micrometers, depth micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance checks, including checking oil levels and cleaning filters.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
