Job Overview & Responsibilities :

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and leading the sales efforts for our company. This position combines strategic planning, customer relationship management, and sales team development to achieve company targets and maximize business opportunities.

  • Sales Strategy Development :
  • Set clear and achievable sales goals to define and implement effective business strategies for each period.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to adapt and refine sales approaches.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
  • Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to foster new business opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Department to gather feedback and address customer challenges.
  • Sales Process & Performance :
  • Develop and streamline sales processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the department.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of sales processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance by analyzing data, tracking KPIs, and providing actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership & Development :
  • Design and implement training programs for the sales team to enhance skills and improve performance.
  • Provide guidance and evaluate team members' performance to foster professional growth.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in forwarding (sea freight, air freight), import-export, transportation, and customs procedures.
  • Professional Experience :
  • 2-3 years or more in a sales leadership / management role within the freight forwarding or import-export industry.
  • Strong experience with North America and European routes (both sea and air) is highly preferred.
  • Existing customer base with established relationships in the industry.
  • Familiarity with various shipping companies and their operations.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Fluency in Chinese is a plus.
