About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to join our team at Key Technical Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of workers engaged in manufacturing and assembly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of workers to achieve productivity, efficiency, and material control goals
- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety practices throughout the facility
- Collaborate with employees to identify and resolve work-related issues
- Analyze and investigate defects, and take corrective action to ensure accurate production
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and quality to enhance safety and efficiency
- Lead and motivate subordinates, complete performance evaluations, and recommend personnel actions
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/plant management
- Lean Manufacturing training and certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work under pressure/stress to meet deadlines/production schedules
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safe work practices
