Job Responsibilities:
Develop a network of referral sources (realtors, mortgage brokers, home inspectors, etc.).
Field underwrite new risks using insurance company provided underwriting guidelines.
Establish client relationships and respond to client questions and inquiries.
Prepare insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close new business.
Follow up on personal lines prospects.
Document and maintain accurate records in agency management system.
Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
Meet production goals as determined by management.
Requirements:
Possess a Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License with the expectation of obtaining Florida 20-44 Property & Casualty Personal Lines Agent License or 2-20 General Lines License within the first 6 months of employment.
Minimum of 1 year of personal lines insurance sales or service experience required.
Experience with Vertafore AMS360 and ImageRight desired but not required; will consider other agency management systems.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
