SCDHHS is seeking a Data/Information Architect Advanced to support the Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) data submissions. This role involves data mapping, analysis, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Mapping:
Utilize Data Warehouse, BI Query, and SQL to investigate, map, and analyze T-MSIS data.
Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and missing values.
Develop alternative data mapping solutions to improve CMS compliance.
T-MSIS Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and update Source-To-Target (S2T) mappings.
Document current processes and state changes in data transformation.
Support monthly CMS data submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Respond to CMS/Mathematica queries and troubleshoot errors.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Collaborate with internal teams to improve data integrity.
Develop reports and test plans to identify and resolve issues before submission.
Stay updated on CMS policies & reporting standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
3 years of experience with Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) data analytics.
Expertise in Medicaid claims and encounter data analysis.
Strong ETL mapping and transformation experience.
Hands-on experience with SQL and data warehouses.
Ability to document and troubleshoot data issues.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Healthcare EDI formats.
Knowledge of MMIS and Medicaid systems.
Experience working in federal or state regulatory environments.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor s degree in a Science or Technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline).
