Job Title: Data Engineer - Tag Governance & Monitoring Responsibilities:
Develops, documents and maintains standards and processes for 3rd party tagging monitoring and issues resolution.
Works with key stakeholders to design analytics and 3rd party tags monitoring solutions and lead their implementation from inception to production.
Operates and maintains analytics and 3rd party tags monitoring solutions working with MarTech and partners teams.
Participates in the tags governance process, ensuring accuracy of collected and shared data, which includes querying and reviewing clickstream data.
Innovates on and advocates for best practices and improved tags implementation, monitoring and governance processes; mentors junior team members.
Supports live systems to ensure business continuity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information technology or related field
6 years of experience in computer science, information technology or related field
In lieu of degree, 8 years of experience in computer science, information technology or related field
4 years of experience in data collection quality assurance in Marketing Tag Management or Marketing Technology in analytics, marketing or technical role, or related field.
3 years hands-on experience with standardization, designing and building, data layer, data taxonomy, data dictionary and data catalog systems.
4 years of experience with privacy compliance monitoring platforms and data collection opt-out choices management products, pixel tags, conversion tags, remarketing tags, browser cookies, meta data taxonomy
Strong understanding of 3rd party tagging best practices and monitoring software
Strong knowledge of tag management data collection platforms such as Adobe Launch, GTM etc.
Best Practices Knowledge and Implementation of Data Registry
Hand s on experience with industry leading data governance tools
Hand s on experience with industry leading tag monitoring tools such as ObservePoint, QA2L, Boltive, etc.
Expert in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and common libraries used in website building (e. g. jQquery, React).
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Git/GitHub;
Desired Skills:

Experience as part of an Agile engineering or development team

tags, multiple implementation techniques for main site/syndicate sites etc.)
Must have hands-on experience in creating Analytics solutions design, implementation, and integrations.
