Role Overview
As a Field Sales Representative for KeyMe Locksmiths, you’ll be the face of our retail car key duplication service. Your goal is to drive sales by engaging walk-in customers, promoting our offerings, and helping people understand the value of high-quality key replacements. This customer-facing position is ideal for confident, outgoing individuals who thrive in retail or direct sales environments.
What You’ll Do
- Travel daily to assigned retail partner locations
- Represent KeyMe at assigned retail partner locations (Home Improvement, Auto Parts stores, etc.)
- Approach and engage customers to offer car key replacement and duplication services
- Educate shoppers about our process, pricing, and quality of service
- Demonstrate product knowledge and help customers select the right key/fob service
- Track and report daily performance, customer feedback, and sales through a tablet or POS system
- Maintain a tidy and professional customer-facing workspace
- Collaborate with Programming Technician or handle hand-off as needed
- Work independently while upholding high standards of service and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations, regarding product promotion and sales activities
How We Know You Can Do It
- Prior experience in retail sales, face-to-face marketing, or direct-to-consumer selling
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills
- Confident, self-motivated, and high-energy attitude
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of results
- Familiarity with automotive services or hardware retail environments is a plus
- Comfortable using mobile technology, tablets, or point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Organized, punctual, and goal-oriented

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to work a Wednesday–Sunday schedule (off Monday & Tuesday)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Must pass a background check
- Willing to travel throughout the Chicago and its surrounding areas
