Position: Physics Teacher (Curriculum Developer) who will develop course “SPH4U” for the grade 12

Job Type: Part-Time (project-based cooperation where the compensation will be from 2000 CAD to 3500 for the whole development), remote job.
Toronto Imperial School is currently seeking dedicated and dynamic Physics Teacher who will develop course “SPH4U” for the grade 12 . Our school provides comprehensive part-time program to students in grades 9-12 all over the world, following the curriculum set forth. It is a project based coopiration.
This course consists of in total 66 lessons where 60 regular lessons plus 6 lessons for final week Final Exam - 2 Lessons, Culminating Assignment - 2 Lessons, and 2nd Option for Final Exam - 2 Lessons). Each unit must include, 2 - Assessment as Learning, 2 Assessment for Learning, and 2 Assessment of Learning, there must also be a minimum of 10 Assessment of Learning assignments throughout the whole course.
Experience Required:
- Experience teaching or developing OSSD Course - SPH4U .
- Familiarity with Curriculum Expectations, Growing Success, and Assessment Guidelines .
- OCT an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Designing and updating the course along with related components in suitable formats, such as video, assessments, and teacher-led sessions.
- -Developing comprehensive study plans, assessments, and supplementary materials that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- -Creating detailed rubrics to assess student performance and ensure consistency in grading across various assessments.
- -Collaborating closely with members of the Product Development department.
- -Actively participating in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
- -Include references and links for any outside sources used.
