Master Data Migration Lead (SAP S4 HANA, MDG)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Migration Lead with extensive expertise in SAP MDG and S4 HANA to lead our client's data migration projects. This position will focus on managing and migrating master data across various systems, ensuring high-quality data governance, and implementing effective processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration, data governance, BRF , and data replication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end master data migration processes, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Oversee the implementation of SAP MDG solutions for various master data objects such as Material, Vendor, Customer, and Financial data.
• Ensure alignment of data migration with S4 HANA and other enterprise systems.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define the scope of migration.
• Develop and implement data governance and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure successful integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Lead post-go-live support and data quality checks.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 years of experience in SAP MDG and S4 HANA implementations and support.
• Strong background in master data migration, including experience with data modeling, BRF , and data replication.
• Proficiency with SAP MDG modules for Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance, and other master data objects.
• Familiarity with data migration tools such as LSMW, SAP Data Services (BODS), and Migration Cockpit(LTMC).
• Experience in leading data migration teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel for project needs (once or twice per month).

Nice to Have:

• SAP S4 HANA certification or related training.
• Experience with data governance and data quality tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
