Job Details

Position: Linux System Administrator
Type: (5-Year Term)
Location: Hybrid Annapolis, MD (2 days remote, 3 onsite; must report onsite within 24 hrs)
Work Hours: Mon Fri, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM EDT
Interview: In-Person

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain & patch RHEL servers

  • Automate tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python

  • Manage Red Hat tools: Satellite, IdM

  • Optimize performance, storage, backup & DR

  • Support Oracle WebLogic, OpenEdge, Apache, vSphere, PeopleSoft, Mobius, ElasticSearch, and more

  • Configure NFS, cron jobs, and ensure 24/7 uptime

  • Create & maintain system documentation

  • Collaborate on security and incident resolution

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

  • Administering Unix (AIX), Oracle DB, WebLogic, OpenEdge, and VMware vSphere

  • Knowledge of performance tuning, load balancing, and disaster recovery

  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
