What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Creole Teller position at Keys Federal Credit Union?
Keys Federal Credit Union is hiring a full time teller to join our Key Plaza branch team.
Being a teller at Keys Federal Credit Union is more than just banking transactions; it's building relationships founded on service, integrity and trust. Working on the front line, our Tellers play an instrumental role in being the "frontline" of our credit union and playing a fundamental role in helping our member reaching their financial dreams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dozens of credit union routine transactions accurately and efficiently (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals etc.)
- Go the "extra mile" to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction
- Communicate with different types of people
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
- Help find solutions to our members' issues and provide relevant information
- Talk to our members about credit union products and services.
- Comply with regulatory requirements
As a teller, the ideal candidate has:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience
- One year of cash handling experience
- Excellent 10-key skills
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers and team mates at all times
- Enjoys being part of a team and has the ability to work as a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic PC knowledge
- Bilingual, can speak Creole.
