Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are limited to the following:
- Represents the company to the channel partner and the channel partner to the company in sales-oriented activities.
- Responsible for managing either of a list of channel partners and/or a partner in a given geography.
- Responsible for the channel quota development, as well as the partners' and end users' satisfaction.
- Responsible for indirect quota, quota assigned to corresponding channel.
- Proactively acts to understand channel partner needs and identify solutions to nonstandard tasks/queries; actively creates business opportunities.
- Determines and develops approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/ strategies.
- Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations.
- Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
- Attending and supporting trade shows in the territory
- Bachelors (required) in Engineering (Electrical Preferred) from an accredited University, other technical field will be considered.
- 15 years of Test & Measurement & Distribution experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Typically 5-8 years relevant experience in technical sales, distribution support and the test industry for entry to this level.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience of customers, test equipment and distributors in territory
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to do technical product demos for customers and partners
- Possess an always be learning mindset
- Base understanding and experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc)
