Responsibilities
- Develop cutting-edge network visibility solutions and security tools
- Learn about networking and security and applying that knowledge to feature development for Network Packet Brokers
- Full stack development – Work closely with team members to developing high quality software.
- Evaluate and integrate third party software.
- Develop JUnit tests and perform feature/integration testing.
- Participating in design of the NVS solutions and code reviews
- Good Java/C programming and object oriented design skills required.
- Expertise, knowledge and interest in Ethernet and networking technologies
- Interest in Web application technologies such as REST, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, etc. and security technologies (e.g. – TLS) is a plus
- Understanding of embedded systems development is a plus
- Experience with AI/ML is a plus.
- Ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong software debug skills
- Familiarity with Agile software development
- Tools: Eclipse/WebStorm, Code Collaborator, Jira, GIT/Bitbucket, debuggers, profilers, Wireshark
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
