This job will be part of the Worldwide Sales / Field Operations Group, which is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships to sustain Keysight's leadership in the market. Engineers and scientists in more than 14,000 companies use Keysight offerings to research, design, develop, manufacture, install, and maintain electronic components, devices, subsystems and systems. And all of them interface with Keysight's global network of direct sales, support, and indirect channel partners.

Challenge your engineering skills and have a fantastic time in the process! Keysight's Global Solutions Delivery Team is seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing custom solutions for our customers, based on Keysight hardware and software. We like to refer to this as Hardware Software People (you!) = Insight. For this position you can reside anywhere in the United States but a metro area with a significant electronics industry is highly preferred. We are seeking an individual with significant industry expertise and an extensive network of professional contacts to augment our strong team of test experts.

Chosen candidate will be responsible for

• Managing complex projects to deliver on time and on budget, including responsibility for
• Defining custom services quotes
• Documentation of customer requirements
• Creating statements of work (SOW) and cover letters
• Managing required approvals from Revenue and Legal
• Scheduling team and customer meetings and project reviews
• Interfacing and building relationships with customers and internal teammates
• Tracking progress against the project plan and schedule
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical project management
• Experience in Electronics/High Tech industry
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired
• Understanding of the TaskRay project management tool is highly desired
• Experience with test and measurement products and test automation software
• Working knowledge of Keysight TAP, Python and automation programming languages
• Excellent communication skills to document customer requirements, create statements of work, and lead project meetings.
• Highly organized and able to use planning tools effectively and successfully execute on a project plan
• As this is a field position, the candidate must be able to drive a company provided vehicle and be physically fit to be able to transport test equipment
• Understanding of Keysight instruments their general use and delivery requirements
• US citizen and ability to get US government clearances
• Deep understanding of closing business with US Primes and ability to achieve contract funding
• Approximately 25% travel may be required
