Primary Responsibilities Manage the U.S. international tax compliance and reporting processes, including the calculation of GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, 163(j) and foreign tax creditsReview U.S. international tax compliance forms, including Forms 1118, 5471, 8858 and various other U.S. international tax forms and U.S. income tax disclosuresOversee the U.S. international tax compliance workplan to assign tasks, set deadlines and manage the overall timing of deliverables and dependenciesManage the preparation of the U.S. international tax workpapers, ensuring that workpapers are accurate and organized in preparation for tax auditsManage the preparation and review of U.S. federal amended income tax returnsModel impacts of tax legislation and planning initiativesProvide technical analysis of U.S. tax implications of non-U.S. transactionsAssist with cash distribution planning and provide tax advice to Management regarding the U.S. tax implicationsAssist with special projects as necessary, such as tax researchManage the India Tax Team indirectly reporting to you, including providing technical instruction, training, oversight, and guidanceManagement and coordination of third-party tax service providersQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and / or advanced degree (e.g., MST) preferredMinimum 6 years of tax experience in Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent experience in a tax department of a large multinational corporationInternational compliance, tax accounting, and provision experience with multinational corporate structuresExperience in preparing international components of a U.S. federal income tax return for a large multinational corporationMust be an organized thinker with strong analytical and Excel skillsHigh degree of accuracy and ability to manage and manipulate large quantities of dataExperience with OneSource Income Tax or International Tax Calculator software is a plusPreferred location is Santa Rosa, California.
