Payroll Clerk in San Antonio, TX 78217
Pay : 25 / hr
Perks :Schedule :
M-F 8am-5pm with a possibility of having no more than 5 hours OT
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process payroll weekly
- Payroll audit – review all data entry for errors
- Process TX New Hire Reporting weekly
- Calculate wage garnishments
- Handle salaried payroll (pulls in automatically but will need to add any vacation, sick or holiday to their time)
- Keep track of vacation for employees – put salaried vacation days on a calendar for mgrs. to see
- Verify PTO being used is available during payroll
- Correct missing job numbers / cost codes
- Review, enter and balance weekly expense reports
- Balance hours and deductions weekly during payroll
- Check for various discrepancies during payroll
- Enter manual timesheets into data entry
- Scanning documents to employees’ files weekly
- Entering commissions once a month
- Entering sign on bonuses and referral bonuses once a month
- Email out paystubs (until we start with ADP)
- Enter 401k changes / loans
- Back up HR for new hires and terminations
- Must have experience with ADP, WorkForce, and Now Payroll
- Requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in Payroll
- Exp with processing certified payrolls / prevailing wage rates
- DEPENDABILITY is a MUST.
- Computer knowledge, good with excel
