Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Inspect the following for defects and document and report them to the Supervisor :
- Printed Circuit Boards
- Cable Assemblies
- Mechanical Assemblies
- Inspect SMT solder, components, and polarity
- Inspect Through Hole solder, components, and polarity
- Inspect Cable Assemblies length, crimping, and pin out
- Inspect Mechanical Assemblies Hardware, labeling / marking
- Inspects in-process and Final Quality control by verifying conformance of product to drawings and work instructions.
- Ability to identify non-conformances
- Document defects on applicable forms (Trouble Sheet, etc.)
- Report defects to Supervisor
- Complete applicable forms (Traveler, etc.)
- Assist in the training of Quality Inspector 1 employees
- Read, write, and speak English
- Working knowledge of electronic components
- Read and interpret drawings, BOM’s, work instructions
- Understand and execute instruction from the Supervisor
- Clearly communicate defects on applicable documentation
- Use Vision aids (microscope, ring light, etc.) and mechanical measuring devices (calipers, Height Gauge, etc.) to ensure product conformance
- Ability to adapt to various job assignments
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Required education and experience :
- Prefer a high school diploma or two years’ experience as a Quality inspector in the electronics industry
- Must have or be able to obtain IPC-610 certification (latest
