Senior Audit Manager - Public Accounting (Potential Partner Track)
Pay
- $150,000 - $200,000 a year

We are a full-service, quality-oriented certified public accounting firm serving privately held companies in a variety of industries. We are looking for a qualified senior audit manager to join our team.
Description of Position:
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, dedicated professional to supervise and perform audit, review, compilation and consulting engagements. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience in a variety of practice areas and industries. This is a key position within our firm with the potential to become a partner.
Qualifications Required:
- Must be a CPA
- Minimum of ten years of recent audit experience in a public accounting firm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to articulate complex business and technical accounting and audit issues
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, SSARS and other regulatory requirements
- Single Audit experience a plus
- General knowledge of taxation
- Experience in litigation support and business valuation a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits, reviews and compilations in accordance with professional standards and firm quality control standards
- Providing supervision and guidance to the engagement team in performing high-quality audits and addressing technical issues
- Building and managing client relationships with a wide variety of clients in various industries
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Mentoring and training staff members to enhance skills and provide professional development
- Staying current on technical and industry standards and developments to evaluate potential impact on clients
- Overseeing firm’s external peer review and internal quality control monitoring
- Managing risks and financial performance of engagements including billings, collections and budgets
- Cross-selling services to existing clients while adhering to independent standards
- Participating in opportunities for practice growth
