Coral Reef Partners, a division of Keystone Clearwater Solutions, is a leading Pennsylvania-based commercial solar installation company, developer, and financier across Mid-Atlantic states. We are currently hiring an Electrical Superintendent to support projects primarily in central and eastern Pennsylvania and other locations such as southern New York and northern Maryland.
As an Electrical Superintendent, you play a vital role in overseeing all electrical site construction and quality control of our solar generation projects. You’ll be a key leader supporting multiple projects and will provide direct leadership to Foreman and field personnel to successfully complete our projects on-time, within budget, and with the highest standards of safety and quality. Safety is a core value, and you’ll lead by example ensuring that safety practices are always adhered to.
A successful Electrical Superintendent pairs their electrical, solar, and construction/project management knowledge with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams including mechanical project team members and other critical stakeholders such as procurement, project management, leadership, and customers.
In this role, you’ll be working at project sites where overnight travel to field assignments is frequent and required, with work assignments lasting a week or longer, depending on project need and other factors. Business travel is paid for.
Primary Responsibilities:
Planning and Execution
- Participates in the planning, scheduling and review of project plans and drawing to ensure the project can be built in a safe and reliable manner
- Ensures site prep work is executed as per contracts, design, and specifications.
- Partners with Project Managers and mechanical leaders to order materials and schedule inspections
- Maintains electrical construction schedules, manages schedule adjustments, supervises completion of final electrical punch-lists, and ensures appropriate staffing for construction activities
- Identify project challenges and work to overcome the issues prior to damaging profitability, schedule and client satisfaction.
Leadership
- Identifies, deploys, and manages a high-performing team needed to accomplish business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Electrical team to ensure activities on site are understood and followed through established processes and quality checks.
- Lead all electrical field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Establish performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and foster a culture of continuous feedback, development, growth and support.
Quality Assurance and Control
- Manages the electrical quality control and assurance program including ensuring processes are meeting design specifications, completing design change notices, managing subcontractor contracts to ensure compliance, and managing electrical material onsite.
Client Relationship and Management
- Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the project, in-line with the client's expectations.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
Environment
- Provides the required electrical documents, drawings, and other forms to active projects for monitoring and maintaining the EMS.
- Ensures all completion of all required permitting activities before commencement of work.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of construction leadership in solar generation and electrical projects
- Journeyman or higher electrical licensing
- Experience with construction project management software (i.e. procore)
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)
- NABCEP Training
- OSHA 30
Skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with all teams and people at varying levels
- Strong budgeting and cost management skills including estimating costs, managing budgets and conducting financial analysis
- Excellent risk management skills in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle
- Strong time management, attention to detail skills with the ability to adapt to changing plans or unexpected challenges

Pay Range:
Pay is based on multiple factors including a candidate's experience and qualifications, job location, market conditions, and business considerations.
Range: $31.00-$50.00/ hour
