What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Supervisor position at Keystone Clearwater Solutions?
We are currently hiring Field Supervisors to support projects currently located in the Southeast Ohio area.
As a Field Supervisor your primary responsibility is to assist the Operations Supervisor with overseeing and leading all water transfer activities for a specific Operator or Account of Keystone Clearwater Solutions. The Field Supervisor will lead a team of Sr. and Water Transfer Technicians while ensuring the operation is safe per Keystone standards and customer requirements.
In this role, you’ll be working at project sites where overnight travel to field assignments is frequent and required, with work assignments lasting a week or longer, depending on project need and other factors.
Work Schedule: You will work rotating shifts from 5:00am to 5:30pm and from 5:00pm to 5:30am. Our typical rotation is monthly, meaning you will work daylight for a month, then rotate to working nights. You could be assigned to either shift when you start. You must also remain flexible depending on project duration, customer project needs, and company project needs.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of water transfer services for a specific operator or account.
- Acts as voice to the client as a representative of Keystone management.
- Supervisor on site, delegating work to be done to ensure operations are running smoothly and on budget.
- Runs all current jobs per work order / working hand in hand with Operations Supervisor and Managing Director.
- Ensures all EH&S procedures are followed, including the training of new employees to the job site.
- Utilizes appropriate safety equipment and ensuring that all company policy, procedures, governmental regulations, etc. are adhered to.
- Maybe be asked to evaluate potential new jobs. Work with engineering to properly spec the job for cost benefit analysis.
- Responsible for the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of lease equipment, pumping facilities and water transfer operations.
- Ensures proper monitoring, inspection, and performing of minor repairs in order to maintain pumps, and flow meters.
- Installs and monitors water transfer equipment, including pumps, flow meters, filter pods and various valves necessary for transfer operations.
- Keeps down time and operating costs to a minimum.
- Supervise, assist, direct and train employee(s) working with them.
- Prepares daily Field Tickets for all the work performed on customer job sites; reviews for accuracy and completeness; submits tickets daily to the Company’s accounting department.
Basic Qualifications
- Graduated from a standard high school or GED or have equivalent experience.
- A minimum of one year of water transfer experience.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a certified fusion technician.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in industry across other disciplines.
- Prior management experience
Essential Requirements/Skills:
- Good understanding and working knowledge of water transfer operations and equipment.
- Ability to set-up and run all aspects of water transfer and management for a Frac. 3. Possess good and effective communication skills with individuals at all levels, including customer representatives.
- Possess ability to effectively supervise and train other employees.
- Ability to write legibly and intelligently, with basic spreadsheet and word processing skills using a mobile device (e.g., smartphone, laptop, I-Pad or the like). 6. Ability to prepare and submit daily and weekly administrative reports/documents (equipment reports, time sheets, and related compilations)
- Ability to read and follow directions provided by Supervisor and customer representatives
- Valid driver’s license.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May manage subordinate employees or contractors.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with KCS policies.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.99 per hour
Expected hours: 60 – 72 per week
