Operations Manager

Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the team, 100 individuals, responsible for processing tax payments and documents received, ensuring accuracy, timely deposits, data capture, and efficient operations.   

• Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational objectives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Supervise personnel, manage production schedules, coach team members, and resolve customer issues. 
• Optimize the allocation of resources to support the highly transactional environment involving mail handling, document processing, and check scanning.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy of the lockbox process.
• Collaborate with peers to support workflow between departments to deliver on service level agreements.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. 
• Communicate with stake holders about company priorities and objectives.
• Hire, train, and integrate new employees into the team.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years in a professional leadership role; preferably of a large team
• Energetic with the ability to move at a fast pace to maintain workflow.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate software applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Relevant experience in payment collection processing or similar role.
