Primary Purpose and Function:
The Health and Wellness Director is responsible for ensuring the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high-quality services in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of assisted living and that complies with applicable state laws and regulations. The Health and Wellness Director is responsible for the scheduling, training, and overall supervision of the personal care staff,
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Hires, Trains, supervises, motivates, schedules, and evaluates care giving staff.
-Oversees orientation of new staff. Develops in-service training and provides training of staff consistent with the EOEA regulations.
- Plans and delegates work assignments assuring effective scheduling on a 24-hour basis
-Completes pre-occupancy screenings/assessments and develops the Resident's Individualized Service Plan in conjunction with the Resident and family
-Assists in coordination of move-ins for new Residents
-Supervises the SAMM program in compliance with EOEA
Monitors and maintains wellness records reflecting Residents physical/mental condition
-Investigates resident and employee incidents and documents appropriately
-Supports and Participates in resident-centered activity program
-Provides on call support and supervision for the nursing department
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 per year
