Job Description
The successful candidate will have a strong background in agricultural sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically. They will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing customer account plans to meet producers' objectives and targets.
- Identifying, evaluating, and responding to key business issues of accounts.
- Maintaining accurate account and sales call records via Keystone Connect and Strategic Account Profile Sheets.
Responsibilities
- Maintained regular communication with Location Managers and Operations teams on account progress, service, and potential issues or opportunities.
- Cooperated with decision-makers and operational individuals within different businesses (Grain, Agronomy, Energy, and Swine & Animal Nutrition) on all account developments.
- Developed work habits that created, built, and supported the go-to-market strategy within the organization.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant ag sales experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain successful business relationships.
- Work hours necessary to be successful and travel as needed.
- Proficient with MS Office suite and company-specific software.
