The Business Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing software support to the Grain & Feed divisions within Keystone. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and software support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to create rapport with internal customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical support to employees utilizing divisional specific software.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve users’ problems with computer software and hardware.
- Assist users with software installation, configuration, and updates.
- Conduct training sessions for end users to ensure effective use of the software.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
- Document processes and produce reference materials for user support and training purposes.
- Work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate data and achieve reliable monthly financial results.
- Collaborate with the product development team, BI Team, and software vendors to improve software and data flow based on user feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software updates and industry trends.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant department or staff member.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience in software support or similar role.
- Must be highly organized with the ability to work within a team environment but also effectively on their own.
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot and the ability to cultivate business relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to provide clear step-by-step technical assistance as well as explain technical issues to non-technical end users.
- Familiarity with database management, network tools and software troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
- Certification in relevant software or technologies is a plus.
