Role Overview
The Agronomy Account Relationship Manager plays a critical role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction for Keystone Cooperative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers, identifying opportunities to provide value-added services, and ensuring objectives and targets are met.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically. They will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing customer account plans to meet producers' objectives and targets.
- Identifying, evaluating, and responding to key business issues of accounts.
- Maintaining accurate account and sales call records via Keystone Connect and Strategic Account Profile Sheets.
Responsibilities
- Provided customer service and acted as one of the primary points of contact for customers, including resolving customer issues and complaints.
- Cooperated with decision-makers and operational individuals within different businesses (Grain, Agronomy, Energy, and Swine & Animal Nutrition) on all account developments.
- Developed work habits that created, built, and supported the go-to-market strategy within the organization.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant ag sales experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain successful business relationships.
- Work hours necessary to be successful and travel as needed.
- Proficient with MS Office suite and company-specific software.
