Position Overview: As a Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will be a part of the HR team located at the corporate office in Indianapolis, IN that works to support four divisions – Energy, Agronomy, Grain, and Swine & Animal Nutrition with more than 100 locations across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. You will work with many talented professionals and be given a high level of responsibility from the start, we are looking for an individual who is organized, friendly, and able to successfully multitask.
Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Partner with talent acquisition to drive a positive Candidate and Hiring Supervisor experience
- Schedule on-site and/or remote interviews including interview travel arrangements
- Assist with coordinating career and job fairs (i.e., scheduling, obtaining recruiting materials etc.)
- Seek opportunities to enhance candidate connections throughout the process
- Assist with monitoring 3rd party job boards (i.e., Handshake, AgHires, social media etc.)
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation
- Handle and maintain confidential information while practicing careful communication
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Previous coordinating experience, preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, Human Resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of employment laws
- Ability to travel within trade territory
- Customer service attitude and team player
- Associates degree in related field, preferred
- Prior related office experience, required
