Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize a hybrid Windows-based infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based environments (Azure).
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain controllers.
- Support and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including backups, performance tuning, security, and high availability.
- Oversee networking components, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, security patches, and updates for both hardware and software.
- Provide technical support for escalated IT issues and collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex problems.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Work to enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices, including vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.
- Collaborate support IT projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Skill in all aspects of Microsoft 365 Administration (Intune, Sharepoint/Teams, Exchange, etc)
- Experience with hybrid AD environments
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with virtualization and cluster technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience managing SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience supporting development teams for hybrid-cloud applications
- Knowledge of backup solutions, endpoint security, and identity management solutions.
- Experience with IaC technologies such as Ansible and Terraform for server, cloud, and network configuration management.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
