Reports To: Executive Director/Director of Human Resources
Summary/Objective:
The Human Resources Assistant/Recruiter is responsible for providing a variety of administrative supports in areas that include but are not limited to processing biweekly payroll and assist with compensation/benefits administration, assist with records and systems management, recruiting and hiring, Collaborative vacancies, and screening qualified applicants, data input, coordinating and/or attending local networking and recruiting events, preparing marketing materials, oversee social media and website accounts, and providing general clerical supports to the Human Resources Department and the Central Office as assigned.
Essential Functions/Duties:
-Responsible for processing biweekly payroll and records for the Organization.
-Assist with benefit administration and complete monthly benefit reconciliations.
-Assist with the open enrollment process.
-Assist with maintenance of ATS systems, posting organizational vacancies, and screening qualified candidates.
-Maintenance of recruitment tracker for all prospective applicants.
-Process necessary onboarding paperwork for new hires, including the distribution and maintenance of employee compensation agreements.
-Assist with conducting new hire intakes.
-Spearhead CORI, fingerprinting, and letter of suitability processes.
-Processing necessary paperwork for any contracted employees, volunteers, or internships.
-In conjunction with the business office, prepare and distribute annual and ESY agreements for personnel.
-Post vacancies, pre-screen qualified applicants, and schedule interviews.
-Perform pre-hire requirements and reference checks for onboarding processes as assigned.
-Assists with record keeping of teacher and related service provider certification and licensure, and assists with licensure reports in Schoolbrains.
-Various reporting for the Organization, including payroll reports, all student and staff assignment spreadsheets, CPR Spreadsheet, and licensure reporting.
-Oversee all employee attendance reporting into Schoolbrains per state requirement.
-Oversee document edits and/or forms, including maintenance of applicable Google drives.
-Assist the Director of Human Resources with maintenance of job descriptions.
-Assist the Director of Human Resources with compliance processes and maintenance of policy and procedures.
-Assists Director of Human Resources with protected leaves including:
-Assists with filing initial workers' compensation claims with the insurance carrier.
-Assist with completing lost wages forms.
-Assist with tracking owed insurance premiums owed for leaves.
-Registering and attending local networking and recruiting events.
-Oversees all social media accounts and assists with the maintenance of the Company website:
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
-Assist with Trexo PR and marketing
-Participate in HR initiatives, including DE&I and other related projects as assigned.
-Oversee documents on the drive and prepare and maintain all marketing materials.
-Responsible for data input and filing as assigned.
-Assists with company-wide orientation.
-Accept all other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director and Director of Human Resources.
