Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced E&I Design Supervisor to join our Baton Rouge team.
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Work Environment: Office/Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains a competent staff of electrical and instrumentation designers and drafters.
- Assigns work and staffs projects.
- Hold employees accountable for quality work.
- Ensures adherence to client standards.
- Possessess an awareness of schedule and budget.
- Assists project managers, engineeering, and project controls with the preparation of work scopes and man hours estimates for all proposals.
- Responsible for orienting all new employees.
- Responsible for salary administration.
- Audits drawings on a regular basis for completeness and adherence to standards.
- Ensures all drawings are properly checked.
- Continuously promotes quality control to all employees.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 15 years working experience.
- Field experience, able to walk down project per the client scope.
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
- Attention to detail.
- AutoCAD experience.
Experience Preferred:
- Associates degree in CAD.
- AutoCAD Plant 3D experience.
